Beach House drops second single off upcoming album, sets album release date

The dream-pop band from Baltimore, Beach House, has released their second single off their upcoming album 7. Their seventh studio album follows their 2017 release B-Sides and Rarities and was formally announced today that it will be released May 11th via Sub Pop.

The new single, “Dive”, starts as a quintessential slow-burn Beach House track that morphs into a quick moving and powerful rock song with distorted guitar and pounding drums. The new offering follows last month's release of "Lemon Glow", and you can listen to the newest track below. In their press release, the band states, “we wanted to rethink old methods and shed some self-imposed limitations. As a result, there are some songs with no guitar, and some without keyboard. There are songs with layers and production that we could never recreate live, and that is exciting to us. Basically, we let our creative moods, instead of instrumentation, dictate the album’s feel.”

The band will also begin touring in April with an extensive world tour, with complete dates listed below.
