The long-running band The Eels have released a new song, “Premonition”, which is their third release from upcoming album The Deconstruction. The California rock band dropped the title track when the album was announced and followed it up with “Today Is the Day” on February 8th. The album will be released on April 6th via E Works/[PIAS]. After four years of relative silence, the group is on track to make a splash in April, and worldwide tour dates commence in May. Overall, the band has always been critically acclaimed, and their 12th studio album should be no exception. With “Premonition” the band takes a darker, slower yet melodic approach to song-writing.
