Suzi Island, a duo from Brighton, have released their debut single produced and mixed by Pete Robertson of the Vaccines. It’s a driving, melodic anthem and the first single from the alternative guitar band. Sounding like The Kooks meet Royal Blood, "Show Me the Way" is a ridiculously catchy track with a chorus guaranteed to get stuck in your head. From the initial acoustic guitar riff to the evolving vocal hook, "Show Me the Way" is a compact and succinct singalong tune.

Following in the footsteps of British Sea Power and most recently the likes of Yonaka & Dream Wife, Suzi Island are the latest band to form in the breezy seaside town of Brighton, England. Despite being only 19 years old, playing music is nothing new for Hugh Reilly-Smith and Matthew Carter. Suzi Island represents childhood friendship and a move away from home to Brighton, to study music. The two 19 year olds grew up together in Andover, playing in bands all their teenage lives.

Currently working on more music with Pete of The Vaccines fame, and Larry Hibbit who has worked on breakthrough records from Nothing But Thieves and Sundara Karma. Suzi Island have a packed 2018 with several more singles due before the years out and numerous live dates. Keep an eye out for the next releases from this talented duo.
